Ian Mcdonald (Minister)

Elise Murray (Administrator)

Elise joined the team at HBC in 2023. She finished studying Early Childhood studies at Oxford Brookes University in 2022. Elise now has two roles, one at HBC as the administrator and one at Barton Community Church as their Children and Families worker.

Children & Families

There is plenty going on for children and families at HBC.  Toddler groups on Tuesday, Powerpack Weekly on Tuesdays too, Sessions on Sundays and events and one-off celebrations throughout the year.

Youth

Youth has a variety of gatherings throughout the week.  Tuesdays @ 6, Wednesday Bible study, mid-week events and Sunday night.

CONNECT Groups

Our Connect Groups meet during the week and are an ideal opportunity to connect with God, each-other and the wider world. The groups meet for study, prayer, fellowship and they also aim to have a more external focus which includes supporting one of the church’s mission partners.

Is there parking?
There is no parking on site. Parking restrictions on Old High Street are active on Sundays.   There is limited 2 hour parking in the area – be careful how you read the signs.  There is pay and display parking available at Waitrose, OX3 9HP.

Can I cycle?
Yep! We have plenty of space for you to lock up your bikes.

Can I get there by bus?
Absolutely. We are 5 minutes walk out from Headington where there are plenty of bus stops.

What should I wear?
There is no dress code; just wear whatever you’re comfortable in.
