Harvest Fair

Date/Time
Date(s) - Sat 12 Oct
10:00 - 12:00
Location
Headington Baptist Church

The harvest fair is a great community event and fun for all ages to celebrate the harvest season. It’s also an opportunity for us to think about how we use the world’s resources and be thankful for what we have.

We are thinking about how to care for our world, by using less plastic, recycling more, supporting fair trade and stopping slavery and celebrating our beautiful world. We will be running a “swap it’ stall where you are welcome to bring ‘as new’ toys, adult clothes and small household items (no electricals) to swap for something new. We will have fair trade goods on sale to encourage people to shop in an ethical way. Oxford city council will be there to guide us in our recycling, and there will be tips and ideas to help us reduce our plastic consumption. This along with crafts and games and the usual quality HBC cafe, with coffee, teas and cakes (donations only).
