Coils, currents and magnetic fields – making motors and generating electricity. Find out how it all works. Amongst other things you will make a motor and make an electromagnet, you will hear about the great 19th century scientist Michael Faraday, who carried out many of the original experiments, and meet a present-day scientist in a new ‘Meet the Scientist’ feature.
Hands on fun for adults, teens and children 7 years and over.
Free to attend but donations for refreshments are welcome.
Professional scientists will be present and willing to answer your questions whether for exams or general interest.
