HARVEST 2019
The weekend started on Saturday morning with our Harvest Fair. People from all over Oxford came and enjoyed a fun-packed, activity-filled morning. There were crafts and games, demonstrating the use of recycling. Fairtrade goods were on sale from the Headington Fairtrade shop, and a very popular swap shop.
All the children were keen to get an apple from the dunking. There was tea, coffee and homemade cake and smiles all round. There was a warm friendly atmosphere and the hall was filled with people of all ages. A great community spirit.
This was followed up on Sunday with our Harvest service, where we gave thanks for all the good things God has given us. Food and gifts were given in abundance to the Community Emergency Foodbank, where it will no doubt be gratefully received and help many people.
