cimg6677On 6 th November 2016 the church family gathered to celebrate their tenth anniversary at the church’s ‘new’ building. Though the original church opened in the early nineteenth century, this millennium saw the congregation take the decision to build a bespoke building to serve Christ and the local community more effectively. The Church, which comprised long-term members and new-comers of all ages, has flourished and branched out into Barton and Northway.

Minister James Bloice Smith said “If we are asked, ‘What do these stones mean?’ we can say that this building reminds us that God is faithful, he keeps his promises, he doesn’t let us fall flat on our faces – he sees us through!’ The church shared in a fun time of painting a mural which reflected the diversity of the church and cake eating. And this event was the icing on the cake of a year which has seen the church pay off the bill for its building.
