Chris Band, June 17, 2018
Part of the Thessalonians
series, preached at a Sunday Morning
Paul's second missionary journey, calling at Thessalonica for three weeks. He had a great response, but serious opposition. Whilst in Corinth, he sent Timothy back to find out what was happening in Thessalonica with this letter.
He was wanting to reassure them and help them to stand firm in the faith.
We need to imitate Christ so others can see Christ through us and imitate him. Christian means 'little Christ'.
As we tell others about Christ, our faith reverberates down through time.
